Good News!
In our daily phone conversations with our customers it has become very apparent that there is still a requirement for marine parts. Trade customers are still servicing engines and repairing boats for Fishermen, rescue services and safety boat operators. Our recreational customers that have their boats at home are taking this opportunity to catch up on those little jobs that never seem to get done because of the lack of time. Well there is certainly plenty of that at the moment.
The good news is this uncertain time will end and our boats will be back on the water. At Specialist Small Craft we want to help you achieve this in a way that is safe to both you and ourselves.
What are we doing?
One of the benefits of being a small business is that its easier to adapt than bigger competitors.
- The administration of the business is now done from home in Lockdown conditions.
- Distribution is carried out by just one member of Staff from our warehouse who only travels there purely to pack and dispatch your orders
- We have changed our courier to the award winning DPD. This allows for reliable no contact collection and delivery with accurate up to date tracking via their App
The change to DPD may result in a slight postage increase for smaller items but we think this is small sacrifice for a more reliable and safer service for you.
We will of course continue to monitor Government recommendations and make further changes if required.
